DRAFT
By Amy Schneider — Owner & Certified Silva Method Instructor, Silva Method of Atlanta & Western NC
I'm Amy, and I'm so glad you're here.
If you've been circling the Silva Life and Intuition Immersion for a while — opening the page, closing it, opening it again — this article is my way of walking you into the room before you ever arrive. The unknown is the only thing standing between you and these four days. So let me take that away.
Here's the honest answer to "what to expect" in a Silva Method course: you'll spend four days learning to function at your level — the calm, focused alpha state — and you'll practice it live, with me, with real people in the room. Not a recording. Not a press-play app. The Real Deal, the way José Silva intended it to be experienced.
Let me show you what those days actually look like.
Welcome: what these four days are really about
I call the Immersion an Adventure, and I mean it. You're not coming to sit still and be talked at. You're coming to do something — to explore and discover what your own mind can do when you give it the right training.
The format is simple. Four consecutive days, or two weekends if that fits your life better, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM. You'll have your hard-copy manuals, your certification, a community that doesn't end when the class does, and two hours of one-on-one coaching with me afterward. (More on everything that's included near the end.)
But the real "what it's about" is this: by the end, you'll have practical tools you run yourself. Calm in the chaos. Sharper focus. Better sleep — without reaching for something to make it happen. And the beginning of a trained intuition you can actually lean on. Calm, creativity, and intuition. That's the whole adventure in three words.
Day by day: the arc from first relaxation to working with intuition
The four days have a shape. We move from settling your mind, to working with it, to listening to it.
Day 1 — Going to your level. We start with what I call the BIG RELAX — a deep, guided relaxation that shows your body and mind, often for the first time, how it feels to drop into alpha on purpose. From there we build: the foundational centering, programming statements, and a five-step framework for solving the problems that have been following you around.
Day 2 — Strengthening the faculties. Now we put the state to work. We explore memory and visualization tools, and a guided experience called the Fantastic Voyage that opens up how connected you are to everything around you. This is the day the techniques start to feel like yours.
Day 3 — Turning toward intuition. The Intuition System begins. We explore your connection to a larger source of guidance and the FLOW STATE — that feeling that life is finally working with you instead of against you. Then come the projection exercises: what I lovingly call the calisthenics to awaken intuition.
Day 4 — Putting it into practice. Graduation day. We get into alignment with your purpose, and you put your trained intuition to work in live practice with the rest of the room. You leave a graduate, with the tools and the community to keep going.
The techniques you'll actually learn
You won't walk out with vague feelings. You'll walk out with named, repeatable techniques. Here are three you'll come to know well:
- The Long Relax. The deep relaxation that anchors the whole experience. Once you've felt it in the room, you can return to it on your own — to wind down, to recover, to fall asleep when your mind won't stop.
- The Mirror of the Mind. A visualization technique for goals and stuck situations. You picture the current problem in a blue-framed mirror, then shift to the solution in a white-framed mirror — a clear, structured way to point your mind at what you actually want.
- The Three Fingers Technique. A pocket-sized trigger. You condition a simple gesture so that, later, joining three fingertips brings back focus and calm in seconds — before a meeting, a test, a hard conversation.
These are the practical, step-by-step tools the Silva Method is built on. Want to go deeper on one before you arrive? My guide to the Long Relax technique is a good place to start.
What graduates say
I won't put words in anyone's mouth here. But after years of teaching, there are experiences I hear described again and again — and it helps to know them, so you recognize them when they happen to you.
Many people tell me the BIG RELAX on Day 1 is the deepest rest they've felt in years. Some are surprised they could reach it without anything but their own attention.
Others describe a quieter shift — a decision that used to feel impossible suddenly feeling clear, or a worry that used to loop all night finally going quiet. Parents tell me they're calmer with their kids. Founders tell me they trust their read on a situation more.
And nearly everyone mentions the room itself: the warmth of practicing alongside people who showed up for the same reasons you did. That community doesn't disappear on Day 4 — it's one of the things you take home.
Atlanta or Asheville: choosing your location and what to expect locally
The Immersion runs live and in person in two places, and you get to choose the one that fits.
Silva immersion Atlanta is held in Alpharetta, just north of the city — easy to reach if you're anywhere in the metro, and a comfortable, welcoming space to spend four focused days. This is our primary, most frequent location.
Silva immersion Asheville is held in Western North Carolina, in the mountains. If you're local to Asheville, Cashiers, or Highlands, it's home. And if you're not, plenty of people treat it as a reason to get out of town — four days in the mountains, learning something that changes how the rest of your year feels.
Either way, the class itself is the same Adventure, taught the same way, with the same care. Seats are limited so the room stays personal — which is part of why I'd rather you reach out sooner than later.
How to save your seat
If you've read this far, you're probably more ready than you think. Sophia-types — the ones who want to feel the transformation, not just read about it — usually are.
The most direct next step is to Save Your Seat for an upcoming Atlanta or Asheville Immersion. Pick your date, pick your city, and I'll see you in the room.
If you'd like to talk it through first, that's good too — there's no rush, and no wrong way to start. And if you'd like to know more about who's teaching, here's a little about me and how I came to this work.
Here's what's waiting for you when you say yes: four days, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, your hard-copy manuals, certification, more than 18 guided meditations to keep, a WhatsApp community and practice groups, a class reunion, two hours of one-on-one coaching with me, and tuition-free reviews for life. You come once. You belong from then on.
I can't wait to welcome you. Come have the Adventure.
Better and Better, Amy
